Frequently Asked Questions

Can I read webtoons directly on this site?

No. K-Webtoon Finder doesn't display webtoons itself — it finds which platform has a title and links you to the original page. Reading happens on Naver Webtoon, Kakao Page, Ridibooks, WEBTOON, or Manta.

Is this free to use?

Searching is free. Actually reading a title follows whatever policy the linked platform uses (free, wait-to-unlock, or paid).

The webtoon I'm looking for isn't showing up

Our database is refreshed periodically from each platform's public search and listing pages, but it doesn't yet cover every title. Coverage keeps improving over time.

Can I search in English?

Yes. Since each platform stores titles in its own language, Korean searches work best for Naver Webtoon, Kakao Page, and Ridibooks, while English searches work best for WEBTOON and Manta.

How are "similar webtoons" chosen?

We look for other titles that share genres with your top result. When genre data isn't available, we recommend titles with similar names instead. This is algorithm-based, not hand-picked, so an occasional odd match is possible.

Are there copyright concerns?

K-Webtoon Finder doesn't store or distribute webtoon content — it only surfaces public information (title, cover image, and a link) from each platform. All rights remain with the original creators and platforms.

Do you collect personal data?

No account or login is required to use the site, and we don't currently store search queries or other personal data.

Will more platforms be added?

Yes, we plan to keep expanding. Let us know if there's a platform you'd like to see added.
